L’Ammiraglio D.O.C. Orcia Red Wine
Made of the finest Sangiovese grapes on the estate. The alcoholic fermentation occurs in the temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for a period of 30 to 40 days. After fermentation is complete, the free-run juice is transferred to French oak barrels (or barriques) for approximately 18 months. L’Ammiraglio has a captivating deep ruby red color with important tannins. This wine has complex and intense noses of fruit and forest notes, which is typical of Sangiovese grapes harvested in our Tuscan region. Its notable complexity makes L’Ammiraglio the perfect wine for meat dishes.
